Stocktake Assistant Job at Woolworths Supermarkets (Auckland)

Job Responsibility

Execute precise stock counting procedures, actively check for missing stock, and promptly recount and resolve any incorrect tallies
Assist the Stocktake Manager with daily operational tasks and promptly escalate any issues or discrepancies that arise on the floor
Finalize missed articles and perform a variety of specific operational jobs to ensure each stocktake is closed accurately and on time
Travel with the stocktake team to various North Island locations as dictated by the annual stocktake schedule

Demonstrate competent written and verbal communication skills with a sound mathematical ability
Hold a current driver's licence and have access to your own vehicle
Maintain a reliable attendance record and strong work ethic
Flexible availability on Mondays (utilised when you are completing out-of-Auckland stocktake trips)
Be able to periodically travel on trips away for up to 14 weeks across the year (travel assignments typically span 1 - 3 nights away, always returning to Auckland)
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
