To ensure Puma inventory stock is safeguarded from loss or theft. Responsible for daily stock monitoring of all locations. Requires ensuring all stocks transactions are promptly and accurately processed into NAV. Requires monitoring open sales orders, open delivery trips and stock in transits are fully completed and accounted for and maintaining close communication with locations. Coordinates the smooth running of monthly stock counts for all locations both physical and notional sites.
Job Responsibility:

Responsible for daily stock monitoring of all locations

Requires monitoring open sales orders, open delivery trips and stock in transits are fully completed and accounted for and maintaining close communication with locations
Coordinates the smooth running of monthly stock counts for all locations both physical and notional sites
To make sure data in the company's inventory system is accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner
Coordinate the month end physical stock counts from all locations to ensure these are done in a timely manner. Run and distribute month end count sheets from NAV to offline locations for recording month end counts
Ensure Weighted Average Cost policy on inventory is maintained at all times in keeping with Puma Global Inventory policies and report any discrepancies in costs immediately
Analyze discrepancies and carry out analysis and make recommendations and/or presentations to management on results
Carry out any specific requests upon the request of the Chief Accountant, Finance Manager and other Management as appropriate
Comply with company requirements and systems relating to SAPS, HSEC & Quality and other company policies
Compliance to HSEQ Employee Responsibilities
Cooperating with the Company to enable compliance with any duty imposed upon them by law
Using properly and effectively equipment designed to safeguard his / her well being
Being aware of factors or situations that may impact upon the quality of the product and service and the environment
Following implicitly the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy / Procedures / Work Instructions as communicated in writing or as instructions received orally
Comply with the Company’s procedures and the relevant legislation regarding the Injury Management process
To formally report to their Manager any concern or incident / injury / non-conformance in any aspect of their work and complete the Puma Energy PNG Incident / Non-Conformance Report form
To formally report to their Manager or supervisor any hazard, practice or condition that will affect safety or production or the community
All forms are completed as outlined in the procedures
Any discrepancies of goods / services received are to be addressed through the Non-Conformance procedures
All products are to be verified at appropriate stages as outlined in procedures and a record maintained
Requirements:
University bachelor’s degree (Business Management and Accounting would be preferrable)
At least 2 year minimum exposure and experience in inventory control background
Good working experience with Stocks Inventory systems. Emphasis on FIFO system
Good PC Skills with Microsoft applications of Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and two years' experience preferably in sales or location environment
Team player, a self-starter, reliable and well-motivated with good communication skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
