The Sales Stocking Crew Supervisors primary responsibility is to ensure that all freight is put away in a safe and efficient manner. The Stocking Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading associates involved with putting away freight & any daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager. The Stocking Crew Supervisor will be responsible for the upkeep of the store while still contributing to the overall store safety and cleanliness. The Stocking Crew Supervisor position will ensure that the Owenhouse Best Practices in stocking, pricing, merchandising and maintenance of merchandise presentation are trained to and followed on a daily, weekly basis by the Stocking Crew. This position is responsible for the safety, delegation and achievement of tasks by the Stocking Crew Team.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure that all freight is put away in a safe and efficient manner
Lead associates involved with putting away freight & any daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager
Responsible for the upkeep of the store while still contributing to the overall store safety and cleanliness
Ensure that the Owenhouse Best Practices in stocking, pricing, merchandising and maintenance of merchandise presentation are trained to and followed on a daily, weekly basis by the Stocking Crew
Responsible for the safety, delegation and achievement of tasks by the Stocking Crew Team
Assist with stocking of merchandise throughout the store
Assist with stocking of back stock
Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor
Proficiently Front & Face
Participate and run daily Stocking Crew Huddles on Dexter with goals and expectations for each shift communicated
Responsible for assigning tasks on Dexter
Enforce safety policies and procedures and be a safety role model
Ensure that employees are in the appropriate places and doing the appropriate tasks as assigned
Be on the floor working side by side with the stocking crew team being a good example of all of the Owenhouse Best Practices & Core Values
Perform all other duties as assigned
Answer and monitor all calls by employees for help in a courteous and effective manner
Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
Requirements:
High School or GED equivalent
Leadership experience preferred but not required
Retail stocking experience preferred but not required
Customer service experience preferred but not required.
