Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning business who are going through an exciting period of growth. You will be working within the Supply Chain & Logistics Team responsible for the day to day procurement of products, components and raw materials for the companies operations. This role is a dual role both warehousing support and purchasing administration which makes the role extremely varied and interesting.

Job Responsibility

  • Placing daily purchase orders to ensure raw materials, components and consumables are available for production
  • Maintain supplier records and cost pricing within the ERP system
  • Monitor stock levels across multiple warehouses
  • Receive goods into stock, checking deliveries and highlighting any damages
  • Prepare pallets and crates for road haulage and sea freight shipping
  • Create work orders for assembly items

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience within a similar role previously
  • Ideally a forklift licence (not essential)
