We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to support our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for managing the flow, accuracy, and availability of materials, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders
Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies
Accurately book materials into the ERP system
Store and organise materials with clear identification
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stores area
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess
Maintain accurate stock records within ERP systems
Carry out cycle counts and stock takes
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Produce stock reports as required
Pick, kit, and issue materials in line with production schedules
Ensure materials are available ahead of manufacturing
Liaise with production and planning teams
Identify improvements to stock processes
Support lean manufacturing initiatives
Ensure health & safety standards are followed
Assist with audits when required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Experience using ERP or stock control systems
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
