Job Responsibility

  • Act as key point of contact for despatch and receipt of customer goods, ensuring all products are quality checked, labelled and stored/picked correctly
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is in place for the storage and distribution of goods and company systems are updated
  • Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Update relevant records and briefs colleagues on stock movement progress, taking action in consultation with management staff to ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Conducts regular and ad hoc stock checks, escalating any issues to management in a timely manner so that appropriate action can be taken
  • Advises and guides other colleagues where required to ensure all working procedures and processes are complied with

Requirements

  • IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
  • Extensive knowledge and application of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to use initiative and to be so organised that key tasks can be completed fully and on time
  • Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven arithmetic skills
  • Effective working unsupervised and in a team-based environment

  • Process all incoming and outbound product flows, while ensuring perfect synchronization between physical and system-based flows (receiving, transfers, shipments, and returns)
  • Manage the daily replenishment of all storage areas on the sales floor (products and packaging)
  • Monitor and close expired reservations and reintegrate them into available stock on a daily basis
