The Stock Control & Operations Coordinator will take full ownership of all stock movement and integrity within STATSports. Acting as the gatekeeper for all inventory transactions, this role ensures that every item, from finished goods(Pods/Docks/Beacons/Apparel) to accessories and components is accurately tracked, reported, and accounted for across all STATSports locations. They will “live and breathe” stock, developing a deep understanding of our SKUs, system workflows, and movement patterns. This person will be a key link between the Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Financial teams, ensuring that our stock data is not only correct, but insightful.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and real-time stock levels across all warehouse and fulfilment locations (UK, USA and 3rd Party Locations)
Ensure all stock transactions (goods in/out, transfers, adjustments, assemblies) are properly recorded, validated, and auditable
Carry out daily and weekly reconciliation of key SKUs, identifying variances and working to resolve root causes
Review and authorise all inventory movements within ERP systems
Be the “gatekeeper” for any manual adjustments — ensuring accuracy and traceability before approval
Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure physical movements match system data
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards showing stock levels, variances, and movements by SKU, location, and category
Identify patterns, discrepancies, and risks — escalating where necessary
Provide stock analysis and insight to Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
Support implementation of improved stock control processes and system enhancements
Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all stock-related workflows
Drive a culture of accountability and accuracy within the operations team and the wider business
Partner with Finance to support monthly and year-end stock valuations and audits
Liaise with Supply Chain, Production, and Business Partnering to forecast and plan stock levels for major orders and releases
Work closely with QA to ensure that product testing, reworks, or scrappages are correctly logged and documented
Requirements:
2–4 years’ experience in inventory control or warehouse operations within a multi-location business
Proven track record maintaining high stock accuracy and integrity across a wide SKU range
Experience creating and analysing operational or financial reports
Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies advantageous
Deep understanding of stock control and warehouse operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset — data-driven and detail-oriented
High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Nav Dynamics 365)
Excellent communication skills — able to challenge, collaborate, and coordinate across departments
Process-focused with the ability to document and standardise workflows
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving operational environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies advantageous
