The Cycle Count Specialist is responsible for performing daily cycle counts across multiple inventory areas to ensure accuracy within the ERP system. This role supports overall inventory integrity through consistent counting, auditing, investigation of discrepancies, and documentation. The position also supports the annual physical inventory.
Job Responsibility
Perform daily cycle counts of 30 to 100 items across various storage locations, including stock cages, production areas, and warehouse shelves
Enter and verify count results in Syteline to ensure ERP accuracy
Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history in Syteline, checking past moves, validating BOM usage, and confirming production or warehouse activity
Conduct on-site inspections of storage locations to identify misplaced, mislabeled, or unreported inventory
Audit stock cage transactions and flag inconsistent or missing activity
Reconcile count variances and provide recommended adjustments to the Inventory Control Manager
Support month-end and year-end inventory activities, including assisting with full physical counts
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of counts, adjustments, investigations, and audit
Escalate unusual or repetitive issues to the Inventory Control Manager for review
Follow all inventory control procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with materials, production, purchasing, and warehouse teams as needed
Requirements
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or cycle counting preferred
Experience with Syteline or another ERP system preferred
Ability to investigate discrepancies using Syteline transaction history, routing, job details, and warehouse records
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and documentation
Excel experience preferred for tracking, lookup, adjustment logs, and reconciliation work
Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and stay organized
Comfortable moving between departments and storage areas throughout the day

Able to lift up to 30-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
