Role : Stock assistant Location : East Sussex Start date : May 2026 Shifts: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm We are looking for an experienced stock assistant to support warehouse and production operations, with a strong focus on safe material handling and accurate stock control. Key Responsibilities: Operate a forklift to move materials between warehouse and production Complete daily stock counts and produce clear reports Track internal transfers (warehouse / machines) Identify and report replenishment needs Health & Safety: Follow all Health & Safety procedures Maintain awareness of surroundings and handle materials safely Requirements: Valid accredited forklift licence (essential) Warehouse or production experience preferred Willing to complete site-specific training (including paper handling) Key Skills: Attention to detail Good communication Reliable and adaptable Comfortable with computer systems Contract: Temporary role with opportunity to become permanent after 12 weeks, for the right candidate Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
