Print & Mail Production Background Familiarity with print workflows, mailpiece formats (letters, flats, postcards), and USPS postal regulations.
Machine Operation Experience setting up and running high-speed finishing equipment (inserters, folders, cutters, stackers, unwinders, stitchers, binders).
Mechanical Aptitude Ability to troubleshoot jams, misfeeds, or alignment issues.
Quality Control Checking for print defects, alignment, correct collation, and address readability.
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.

Job Responsibility

Operating and setting up Tecnau & Hunkeler finishing lines and traditional cutters and folders in bindery.
Enter data into ERP monitoring overall performance, efficiency, and quality.
Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.
Troubleshoot finishing line performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.
Maintains production, efficiency and quality records related to the finishing / bindery operation.
Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation.
