Stihl repair technician

• Ensure equipment is repaired, safe, and ready to process
• Order repair parts as needed for equipment repair
• Ensure proper check in and check out of equipment
• Maintain repair schedule and regular maintenance schedules for all STIHL equipment
• Identify and notify management of any pricing irregularities in the system
• Ensure customers are provided with the highest levels of customer service
• Greet all customers and assist in answering questions about merchandise and locating merchandising
• Use The S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers find everything on their lists
• Complete all company and departmental paperwork accurately
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons or crates of merchandise
• Check paperwork against items received when required
• Replenish stock when necessary
• Display and maintain merchandise on end caps, shelves, counters or tables following company plan-o-gram
• Build displays when necessary to attract customers and promote sales
• Maintain on-hand integrity through inventory adjustment reports
• Follow the nightly maintenance checklist to ensure proper store recovery and cleanliness
• Maintain familiarity with new products and ad merchandise
• Have sound awareness of surroundings, customers, etc.
• Practice loss prevention techniques to minimize shoplifting losses
• Have working knowledge of the tools available to operate the store
• Follow GLA policies and procedures for all transactions
• Engage the customer to ensure they are receiving all the benefits of being an Ace Rewards member and actively seek participation from them

• Mechanically inclined
• Experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance
• Preferably experience with STIHL power equipment
• Ability to show consumers how to properly use a wide variety of STIHL power equipment
• Ability to maintain outstanding customer service
• Ability to generate sales
• Ability to merchandise product
• Ability to own assigned departments
• Ability to support the store management team
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to work with colleagues and customers effectively and professionally
