Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stewarding Team Leader to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Stewarding Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our food and beverage operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise the stewarding team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all kitchen areas and equipment
  • Oversee the proper handling, cleaning, and storage of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance to improve performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and organised working environment
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff or management promptly
  • Implement and maintain proper waste management and recycling procedures
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team effectively
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in food service environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Hospitality management certification (Preferred)
  • Fluency in English
