We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stewarding Team Leader to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Stewarding Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our food and beverage operations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and supervise the stewarding team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all kitchen areas and equipment
Oversee the proper handling, cleaning, and storage of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance to improve performance
Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and organised working environment
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff or management promptly
Implement and maintain proper waste management and recycling procedures
Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Proven track record of leading and managing a team effectively
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills
Exceptional time management and organisational capabilities
In-depth knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in food service environments
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Hospitality management certification (Preferred)
Fluency in English
knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is an advantage
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment
