Job Description:

The Stewarding Supervisor at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha is responsible for supervising the Stewards, maintaining cleaning operations, supporting banquet and buffet setups, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting management with employee-related tasks. The role emphasizes maintaining high levels of quality and safety standards while ensuring guest satisfaction within a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient
ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented
assist with Banquet plate-ups
assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed
support banquet and buffet by transporting and ensuring adequate stock
operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
follow company and safety policies
complete safety training and certifications
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
adhere to quality expectations and standards
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience
