The Stewarding team ensures that each outlet and function has an adequate supply of clean dishes and silverware and also keeps the kitchen and the “heart of house” clean and safe. As a Night Cleaner you are required to have the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position which includes, but is not limited to; lifting heavy items, carrying fully loaded trays, walking, standing for long periods, working in a wet environment, operating industrial equipment, pushing and pulling. This person should be able to respond to all interactions in an efficient and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Perform deep cleaning of areas as assigned
Clean kitchens, including vents, fryers, grill areas
Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
Properly handle the dishwashing machine including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals
Safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly
Requirements:
One to two years’ previous experience in Food and Beverage
previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Strong communication skills
