The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Steward to join our Food & Beverage team. The Stewarding team ensures that each outlet and function have an adequate supply of clean dishes and silverware and keeps the kitchen and the 'heart of house' clean and safe.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure each outlet and function have an adequate supply of clean dishes and silverware
Keep the kitchen and the 'heart of house' clean and safe
Properly handle the dishwashing machine including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals
Safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly
Load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly
Follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel
Clean, polish, sort and transport required silver
Maintain all pots, pans and equipment to be cleaned
Set up work area with proper washing and rinsing sinks
Use the correct detergent and rinse agent
Change the water when necessary
Requirements:
Minimum one year Food & Beverage or related work
Strong interpersonal and team player skills
Work authorization in the United States
