Job Description:

EDITH MACY CONFERENCE CENTER is looking for a high energy individual! Part-time or Full-Time Steward/Dishwasher position with a regular shift from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30-10:00pm.

Job Responsibility:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
Wash worktables, walls and vent hoods
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
Sweep and Mop the kitchen floor
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling
Ensuring compliance with all hygiene and safety standards
Supporting the kitchen team as needed

Requirements:

Must be available to work at least 3 -4 days per week, including weekends, depending on business needs
Flexibility to work a variety of days is essential
MUST have clean, valid driver's license
Previous experience working in a culinary/hotel/kitchen/catering environment is preferred
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 35 pounds)
