The Steward is responsible for the management and proper functioning of all dishwashing equipment, including but not limited to dishwashing stations, hand-washing sinks, and other kitchen cleaning equipment. He/She ensures waste disposal in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. He/She is also responsible for the storage of cleaning products in designated storage areas, in accordance with company standards. In addition, he/she maintains kitchen floors and work surfaces under the guidance of the Executive Chef and his/her delegates, and in compliance with food hygiene and safety rules.
Job Responsibility:
Management and proper functioning of all dishwashing equipment
Ensures waste disposal in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
Responsible for the storage of cleaning products in designated storage areas
Maintains kitchen floors and work surfaces under the guidance of the Executive Chef
Cleans and maintains all kitchen equipment
Organizes cleaning activities using detergents
Ensures that the hand-washing station is always in impeccable condition
Cleans and disinfects all kitchen areas
Cleans and disinfects cafeteria areas
Ensures proper organization and storage of all kitchen utensils
Maintains dishwashing equipment
Ensures proper use of the three-compartment sink system
Scrapes all dishes and utensils thoroughly
Inspects dishes, cutlery, glasses, and utensils after cleaning
Disposes of waste in designated containers
Stores all cleaned dishes, glasses, cutlery, utensils, and other related items in designated storage areas
Requirements:
