Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. This role ensures compliance with health and safety standards while supporting kitchen and food service operations.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen tools efficiently
Ensure proper storage of cleaned items
Dispose of waste and maintain hygiene standards
Support chefs and kitchen staff as needed
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Team player with good communication skills
