Job Description:

As a Steward, your responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, washing and disinfecting assigned areas, properly storing perishables, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Offered at The Inn at Opryland A Gaylord Hotel, the role is ideal for those wanting to work in food and beverage services in a globally recognized hotel brand.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas
receive deliveries and rotate stock
use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items
rack and spray all racked items with hot water
sort, soak, and re/wash silverware
breakdown dirty bus tubs
empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
dispose of glass in proper containers
adhere to safety and quality standards
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
