Aurizon Port Services is expanding operations in Port Adelaide, and we are seeking multiple casual Stevedores to join our team in this dynamic and exciting environment. With and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment—including Gottwald mobile harbour cranes, reach stackers, front end loaders, Skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and light vehicles—you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Australian rail and port operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitating the loading and discharge of cargo, non-containerised cargo, and bulk products
  • Operating machinery including Gottwald mobile harbour cranes, reach stackers, front end loaders, Skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and light vehicles
  • Driving vehicles on/off Roll-on Roll-off vessels
  • Conducting shipboard and wharf duties, ship loading and other general duties
  • Basic administrative duties including tally clerking
  • Ensuring adherence to loading/unloading schedules

Requirements:

  • Previous stevedoring knowledge and experience
  • Ability to obtain Maritime Safety Identification Card (MSIC) – Mandatory
  • Hold the following tickets or ability to obtain - C1 Mobile Harbour Crane, Ships crane, Reach stacker, Forklift and Dogman
  • Must be available to work at short notice
  • Must be flexible with availability and be able to workday, afternoon, nightshifts, and weekends as required
  • Available to work up to 12-hour shifts (as required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A steadfast commitment to safety
  • Must be 18 years or older
