Acuver Consulting is seeking a distinguished IBM Sterling OMS Architect. In this pivotal role, you will provide overarching technical leadership and architectural governance across multiple complex implementations. You are the primary technical advisor to senior client stakeholders (CTOs/VPs), translating high-level business challenges into scalable, innovative, and cloud-native order management solutions that drive significant business growth

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Serve as the final authority on architectural standards and technical success across a portfolio of complex IBM Sterling OMS projects
  • Solution Visionary: Define end-to-end architecture for critical omnichannel initiatives, bridging the gap between legacy retail systems and modern digital commerce
  • Architectural Governance & Innovation: Lead the design of cutting-edge solutions involving complex customizations and high-performance extensions while evaluating emerging patterns like AI/ML and event-driven architectures
  • Practice Evolution: Actively grow Acuver’s OMS practice through thought leadership, developing proprietary IP/methodologies, and mentoring the next generation of Managing and Senior Consultants
  • Performance & Scalability Oversight: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for the most intricate performance and concurrency issues, ensuring systems can handle massive global scale

Requirements

  • Deep Sterling Core Knowledge: 12-20 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS (v10.0+, OMOC), including its core architecture, extensibility framework, and underlying database structures
  • Advanced Modules: Hands-on experience with Intelligent Promising, Inventory Visibility (IV), and Order Management on Cloud (OMOC)
  • Modern Backend & Integration: Proven expertise in Java and Spring Boot for building high-concurrency microservices that integrate seamlessly via Kafka/MQ
  • DevOps & Cloud-Native: Advanced command of deployment automation (CI/CD) and certified container deployments on Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Global Inventory & Fulfillment: In-depth knowledge of global inventory visibility, complex orchestration flows, and cross-border retail trends

Nice to have

  • Data Intelligence: Proficiency with advanced database technologies (NoSQL, distributed databases) and AI/ML applications within the supply chain
  • Broad Supply Chain Context: Deep familiarity with logistics best practices, WMS, and iPaaS beyond the OMS domain
