Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Sterile Processing Supervisor in Tyler, TX. This position is located at the Medical Education Building (MEB) Surgery Center. Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare Better.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides support, training, and communication regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to our facility in compliance with the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies
  • Coordinates and supervises day-to-day operations of SPD employees

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 4 years of hands-on SPD experience with one year of leadership, including lead experience
  • Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
