Job Description:

We are looking to recruit highly a motivated teacher with the experience or ability to teach across a range of STEM subjects to join our school. We are seeking an outstanding teacher with the vision, passion and experience to enthuse all learners in the joy and mastery of these subjects with an ability to promote critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. The successful candidate will bring creative and innovative ways of working with and engaging our neurodivergent learners, understanding how to overcome barriers, promoting a love of the subjects and having high aspirations for all pupils to excel. We are seeking a teacher with experience in either or both Primary (KS2) and Secondary (KS3 – 4) phases of education. If you are a primary teacher with an interest in gaining experience in teaching KS3, we would welcome your application with equal value to those from a secondary or specialist background. This role is a truly unique opportunity to play an integral part in shaping the learning throughout the school, with creativity and ambition. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to develop our STEM curriculum, ensuring all pupils achieve the very best outcomes in the subject, preparing them for independence and success for post-16 and adulthood. The successful candidate will have a track record of high-quality teaching and an ability to adapt and support pupils to overcome barriers, enabling them to engage with and enjoy learning. They will also understand the importance of nurture and trauma-informed approaches to support the development of social, emotional and mental health needs and how to incorporate this into daily school life. To be successful, you will need to exemplify our core values: child centred, authentic in all our relationships and adaptive and sensitive to need.
