Requirements

Proven Experience as a Steelfixer in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and rebar lists accurately
Construction Industry White Card (mandatory)
Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
A strong work ethic, high reliability, and pride in producing quality work
Commitment to working effectively in a team environment
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Job Responsibility

Work on current and upcoming commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects across the North West Coast (including areas like Devonport, Burnie, and Ulverstone)
Read and interpret detailed engineering plans and drawings
Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel to form concrete structures, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards
Collaborate closely with formworkers, concretors, and site supervisors
Maintain an absolute commitment to site safety procedures and quality workmanship
