Job Description:

The Metal Building Erector assembles pre-engineered metal buildings. The steel erection scope includes raising, placing, and installing steel columns, mainframes, girders, purlins, and other structural members to form a complete structure. Additional tasks include installing building insulation, metal cladding, standing seam roofs, IMP panels, windows, and doors. Assembly and installation require rigging, bolting, and equipment operation. Some welding may be required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with tools and equipment required for steel erection is strongly preferred
  • Desire and ability to work well on a team is required

Nice to have:

  • The ability to read construction drawings is a plus
  • PEMB: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred)
