Job Responsibility

Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement according to specifications
Position and secure rebar using tie wire, spacers, and chairs to maintain correct cover
Coordinate with shuttering teams to ensure reinforcement fits within formwork
Install couplers, stirrups, and other reinforcement accessories
Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OHSA guidelines

Job Responsibility

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for precast components
Build, assemble and dismantle shuttering and moulds using timber, steel and formwork systems
Set out moulds accurately to required dimensions, tolerances and finishes
Install cast-in items such as rebates, block-outs, chamfers, fixings and lifting anchors
Adjust and repair moulds to ensure repeated use and consistent quality
Ensure moulds are clean, square, sealed and prepared for casting
Work closely with steel fixers and precast operatives to ensure reinforcement fits correctly within moulds
Carry out quality checks prior to concrete pours
Follow all health & safety procedures within the manufacturing facility
Support continuous improvement of mould designs and production efficiency
