We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Stationary Engineer to be a key player in our operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of critical power plant equipment, including boilers, compressed air systems, refrigeration systems, fire protection systems, water treatment systems, and effluent systems. Your expertise will help maintain optimal performance and reliability across these essential systems, contributing to the success of our operations.
Job Responsibility:
Operate and monitor boilers, feed pumps, water softeners, DA heaters, and other related steam plant equipment daily with the utmost attention to detail
Proactively problem solve and perform root cause analysis to create long term solutions
Operate, monitor, and regenerate water treatment facilities as assigned
Inspect, operate, and monitor all plant compressed air, refrigeration, air-conditioning, and effluent systems daily
Monitor and test fire protection systems weekly/monthly as assigned
Requirements:
Class I, City of St. Louis Stationary Engineer’s License required
1+ year of power plant experience is preferred
Strong decision-making skills related to the operation of equipment that directly impacts production capabilities
A proactive work ethic, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop both short- and long-term solutions to optimize system performance
