You'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring building mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and building automation systems. This role requires ensuring optimal performance of all mechanical equipment while maintaining safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient building operations for tenants and occupants.

Ensuring optimal performance of all mechanical equipment while maintaining safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient building operations for tenants and occupants
Monitoring and operating complex building systems through Building Management Systems (BMS) and direct equipment inspection
Performing routine maintenance on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, pumps, and related mechanical equipment
Conducting equipment rounds, recording operational data, adjusting system parameters for optimal performance, and responding to emergency calls
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and coordinating with outside contractors for specialized repairs
Maintaining accurate logs, work orders, and equipment documentation in CMMS systems
Monitoring energy consumption, identifying efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and operating permits
Emergency response availability and flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Stationary Engineer License (Class 1, 2, or 3 depending on facility requirements)
3+ years of experience operating and maintaining commercial building mechanical systems
Knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to work in mechanical rooms, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and environmental compliance
Nice to have:
Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
