Job Description:

Station Attendant position at Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles involving food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and ensuring quality service standards while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to Chef
Notify manager if product does not meet specifications
Check temperature of appliances and food
Monitor quantity of food prepared and portions served
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Serve food in proper portions
Set-up, clean and break down work station
Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
Prepare and cook food
Follow company safety and security policies
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Speak with others using clear professional language
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
