Static Stress & F&DT Structure Engineer

• Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious
• Document analyses in support of trade studies or detail drawing sign-off for airframe structure
• Collaborate with other (internal/external) technical departments to solve complex technical problems
• Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product
• Mentor less experienced structural analysts and provide leadership and guidance of a highly complex range of problems
• Lead aspects of major projects successfully
• Set broad objectives with timelines and establish the tasks required and how they should be completed
• Demonstrate a high level of listening and speaking capabilities with all levels of management, internal and external
• Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, or Mechanical) with a strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis, and/or mechanics of materials
• Minimum 12 years total structure analysis experience in analysis of primary airframe structures
• Experience in composite aircraft structure (airframe)
• In-depth knowledge of classical and numerical (Finite Element) stress analysis methods
• A strong computer background, including MS Office application experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite application experience (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
• Authorized to Work in the US

Prefer experience with A350, A220 Pylon or other Airbus commercial aircraft
