Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Static Stress Cabin for Head of Version and Retrofit (M/F) to join our Fuselage Structure Team based in Toulouse, France. Integrated within the transnational Fuselage Structures engineering team, the selected candidate will join the Cabin & Large Metallic Fuselage team and contribute to all cabin stress analysis activities across all programs.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform stress activities for primary structures justification for new cabin layouts including linefit (HoV) and retrofit (cabin upgrades and connectivity) for the all programs
  • Under the supervision of the Lead Engineers, technically follow-up the activities within this scope and liase with internal stakeholders (DOT leaders, Senior Engineers, CVE, Signators) and external stakeholders (Airworthiness, Airbus Atlantic, S/C, Extended Make VSM, Program) to ensure the quality and performance
  • Continously improve the process, way of working, technical solutions, etc. for the above scope
  • Follow the strategy Make/Buy that is defined by the Lead Engineers, organise and follow-up activities with Sub-contractors and Extended Make
  • Colloborate closely with Airbus Atlantic for HoV activities
  • Be part and the technical network within 1AFS by proactively participating in meetings / forums and promoting synergies across teams / skills / programs

Requirements

  • Graduate from engineering school
  • Experience in static stress
  • Knowledge of Airbus programs
  • Fluent in French and good in English
  • Willing to grow technical competences
