Fabric Technician Location: Bristol Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: 28,000£ - 30,000£ Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Are you a skilled tradesperson who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly? We are seeking a reliable Fabric Technician to join one of our client's growing team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a prestigious portfolio of public sector buildings.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a prestigious portfolio of public sector buildings
  • Repair and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and fitted furniture
  • Act as the initial responder for leaks, blockages, and general faults, ensuring the site is made safe immediately
  • Perform L8 Legionella duties (flushing/temperatures), plant room inspections, and AHU filter changes
  • Carry out painting, redecorating, and ad-hoc cleaning services as required
  • Prepare Risk Assessments (RAMS), use CAFM systems (Maximo) to close out jobs, and oversee on-site subcontractors

Requirements

  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong background in building maintenance with a focus on carpentry, plumbing, or painting

Nice to have

An NVQ or equivalent in a relevant trade (Plumbing, Carpentry, or Decorating)
