This is a sales role focused on early-stage, high-potential startups. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence among Chinese technology startups (particularly in emerging sectors like AI and SaaS), identifying and signing teams that are in their infancy but possess significant potential for globalization. You need to possess a keen market sense to establish connections during the early stages of a company's development. Through professional service and a deep understanding of cross-border business, you will help startups solve pain points related to global treasury management and compliance. Your goal is to become their trusted partner and realize commercial value as their business grows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively identify and engage high-potential startups in AI and emerging sectors through independent research and networking
  • Drive the full sales cycle from discovery to signing by addressing founders' specific needs in global treasury and compliance
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with early-stage clients to ensure Airwallex remains their partner of choice as they scale
  • Gather market insights and client feedback to help internal teams optimize solutions tailored for the startup segment

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in FinTech, SaaS, or the startup ecosystem
  • Strong execution and self-drive with the ability to work independently and navigate a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine interest in technology (especially AI) with the commercial acumen to understand startup business models
  • Native-level Mandarin and professional proficiency in English for effective internal and external communication
  • A customer-centric mindset with the patience to build trust and invest in the long-term growth of clients
