Vercel is seeking a Startup Accelerator Manager to drive and scale our relationships with the startup ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to build strong partnerships with venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, and startup enablement programs. You’ll work closely with our Startup Program Lead to grow Vercel’s footprint across early-stage technology communities and identify strategic opportunities to support startup founders and developers. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply connected to the startup and VC community, has a strong understanding of developer-first products, and thrives in building scalable programs and relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Scale Vercel’s relationships with startup ecosystem partners, with a focus on accelerators, incubators, and startup community leaders
Support and execute programs designed to drive adoption of Vercel within the accelerator ecosystem, such as The Vercel AI Accelerator
Collaborate with the Startup Program Lead to shape and iterate on strategies to drive adoption of Vercel’s products among thousands of startups and ensure companies have the resources they need to build quickly and effectively using Vercel
Contribute to the development of programs and strategic initiatives focused on startup customers, in partnership with sales & customer success engineering, marketing, communications, business operations, finance, product management, and engineering
Maintain and expand a pipeline of high-quality startup leads, actively tracking performance and impact of partnership initiatives within each Accelerator program and their cohorts
Serve as a visible and engaged ambassador for Vercel in the startup community, attending + hosting ecosystem events and fostering long-term relationships
Analyze key metrics for the startup partner program and create reports and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
3+ years experience managing high-value external relationships (e.g., customers, partners, investors, Board of Directors) and working directly with founders and C-level executives
Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships with VCs, accelerators, or early-stage companies
Ability to build and maintain credibility with a technical end-user in Engineering, Product, and Design functions, by showcasing Product and Industry knowledge and expertise, particularly knowledge of modern frontend technologies (eg. React, Next, Vite, Astro, Remix, etc.)
Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and the unique needs of high-growth founders and developer teams
Strong program management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from idea to execution
Curiosity and interest in Infrastructure, DevOps, and Front-end engineering
Effective communicator and collaborator with strong interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
Contribute to open-source projects related to modern frontend technologies (eg. React, Next, Vite, Astro, Remix, etc.)
Have existing relationships with top-tier VCs, accelerators (e.g., Y Combinator, Techstars), or founder communities
Have built applications at scale with modern frontend technologies
