We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Start-up Manager to join our dynamic Project Management team within the Tissue business line. In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate all on-site commissioning and start-up activities for large-scale projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution.
Job Responsibility:
Startup manager leads operation of site commissioning & startup team
Coordinate and control the site including planning work, managing a range of subcontractors
Working with internal and customer together to make site commissioning planning and schedule
Responsible for commissioning and startup safety, daily check out schedule, start up on time and successfully
Implement a variety of operating policies and procedures to ensure that the site meets project targets and quality standards
Customer training , preparation of hands-on training
Process/equipment testing: testing of equipment
Process start-ups: planning of start-ups in cooperation with customer starting-up equipment and processes, guidance of operators
Make daily start up reports and final summary start up reports
Optimization of processes, fulfill performance and quality guarantee
Problem solving: Problem solving after market business and during project guarantee period
Customer support regarding cooperation agreements, long term customer support on site reporting: status reports
and feedback for equipment and processes development
Responsible for ensuring regular site safety checks are conducted and maintaining strict quality control procedures including regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work, and frequent tours of the site
Supervises and monitors day-to-day on-site operations on a large project site
All other tasks assigned by line manager or company
Requirements:
Management skill of complex project site
At least 5 years’ experience at paper and board or tissue machine
Ability to travel extensively internationally and domestically on extended field assignments
A good command of the English language
both written and oral communication
Good sense of responsibility and safety
