Under the direction of the Stand Manager, the Stand Worker is responsible for preparing, selling, and serving food and beverage items in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner.
Job Responsibility:
Reports for scheduled events on time, in proper uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance
Prepares food and beverage items using proper preparation procedures and sanitation guidelines
Uses all equipment according to safety standards and regulations
Prepared food that meets all Legends’ expectations and Health Department guidelines
Initiates transactions and acquaints guests with menu items and uses suggestive selling techniques
IDs all guests and serves alcoholic beverages responsibly
Totals and assembles guest’s orders, receives payment, and completes transactions accurately
Uses Point of Sale equipment correctly and accurately
Ends transactions in a positive way, such as “Thank You” or “Enjoy the Game.”
Maintains high standards of friendly guest service
Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary
Must be able to work as a cashier or help prep whenever needed
Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean
At closing, works with other stand workers to properly clean equipment and organize stock for next event
Performs and completes other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
Ability to work all Venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work at a fast pace
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Orientation and on-the-job training are provided
Must be pleasant, courteous and enjoy working with people
Must be able to work with others as a team
Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations
Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
