Job Description

Acme is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Floor Lead to join our Henderson team on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role while overseeing and supporting a small night warehouse staff in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Floor Lead supports daily warehouse operations by coordinating workflow, assisting with inventory control, supporting forklift operators, and helping lead and train team members. This role works closely with warehouse leadership to maintain safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Support daily warehouse activities to ensure operational efficiency
  • Assign and coordinate work for forklift operators and warehouse staff
  • Assist Department Manager with training, coaching, and motivating employees and temporary staff
  • Perform RF scanner inventory control functions
  • Physically count and record merchandise in warehouse and/or transit
  • Research inventory discrepancies and correct inventory issues as needed
  • Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Maintain working knowledge of warehouse operations and safety programs
  • Recommend and assist with process improvements
  • Verify daily plans, deliveries, and inbound/outbound inventory needs
  • Communicate daily expectations, workflow priorities, and safety information
  • Ensure forklift safety inspections are completed daily
  • Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or operational issues immediately
  • Follow all GMP and Food Safety/Quality regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Must be able to operate a stand up forklift
  • Clerical experience preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Specific vision abilities required including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to waist and shoulder height
  • Must be able to pass physical assessment and background
