Job Description:

A well-known skincare brand that specializes in acne treatment products is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. The company offers a range of products, including cleansers, exfoliators, and spot treatments, aimed at preventing and treating acne through a three-step system designed for various skin types. Mission : - This position aims for leading the accounting, tax, and audit activities. - Influence and co-work with cross-function teams for smooth accounting operation- Communicate with US(HQ) team for timely reporting

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closing under US GAAP
  • Manage sub-ledgers of A/R, inventory, A/P, F/A with sufficient understanding of ERP
  • Prepare / approve journals (i.e. prepayments, accruals, etc.)
  • Perform B/S reconciliation
  • Complete actual reporting to Global Finance on timely manner
  • Prepare for statutory financial statements at year end
  • Provide necessary documentations for Tax return and co-work with tax consultants
  • Control Treasury related matters

  • Manage Internal control
  • Manage outsourcing
  • Lead TP studies and tax investigations, if any
  • Manage other ad-hoc accounting matters

Requirements:

  • 5 - 10 years in an accounting position in an international setting
  • Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
  • English & Japanese fluently (both written and orally)
  • Good knowledge in accounting skills (both JP & USGAAP)
  • Experience with Hyperion, BI tools, ERP Systems like SAP, Workday, or equivalent as well as MS Excel
