The Concierge Intern assists our experienced Concierges and contributes to creating unique experiences for our guests. The Concierge intern will act as a true ambassador of the hotel and the destination of Megève while learning Conciergerie fundamentals.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to all guests' requests following and adhering to the Four Seasons Standards of service
Handle a wide variety of guest requests with utmost professionalism to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
Act as an ambassador for the hotel, displaying a great sense of style and integrity
Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
Handle incoming and outgoing email, call, packages, and special guests' deliveries
Use internal systems and database to correctly record special requests and ensure high-quality follow-up
Provide occasional support to the Front Desk team when needed
Maintain detailed knowledge of local key occurrences (directions, monuments, activities, restaurants, shopping, slopes…)
Display a friendly, courteous and professional attitude in all dealings with guests and employees with an emphasis on fulfilling requests
Communicate the guests’ complaints to the management, keeping them well informed as to the issues and actions taken
Communicate to all hotel departments any necessary information, guest preferences or requests
Work harmoniously and professionally with all colleagues
Requirements:
Student in hospitality, tourism, or a related field
Excellent grooming and impeccable sense of service, with a passion for the guest experience
Strong interpersonal skills: patience, tact, empathy, and diplomacy
Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, organized, and detail-oriented
Team spirit, integrity, discretion, and a strong sense of priorities
Knowledge of or curiosity about the culture, history, gastronomy, and activities of Megève and its region
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the French language
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
Must possess valid French/European work authorisation
