Job Description:

The Stage Manager will help to oversee the consistent smooth running of the technical entertainment delivery, including coordinating the LX/AV/Sound/Stage teams that sit within this. This role covers 40 hours a week on a wide variety of shifts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help to oversee the consistent smooth running of the technical entertainment delivery
  • Coordinate the LX/AV/Sound/Stage teams
  • Lead, co-ordinate/implement training and development of the technical support team in the areas of STAGE/AV/LX/AUDIO
  • Liaise with stage based performance content to ensure it is delivered as directed and produced
  • Welcome, support and deliver support for visiting Artistes and acts on stage and in their dressing room environments
  • Co-ordinate, plan and deliver day to day running and operation of venues
  • Ensure all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard
  • Ensure continuous evaluation of the quality of the technical delivery in all fields AUDIO/STAGE/LX/AV
  • Work with the team to have all Technical specifications and documentation kept up to date
  • Work with other Stage Managers, Support Stage Manager, the Technical Manager and Technical support teams to create the correct atmosphere through AUDIO/LX/AV and STAGE visuals for Big Weekender, family breaks and corporate events
  • Implement systems, processes and procedures for the upkeep and maintenance of all technical equipment specific to venues and the resort as a whole
  • Keep accurate back ups of all files and show media
  • Develop alongside the Technical Manager a robust cover programme for the operation of shows
  • Create effective development and succession planning for technical team development in all fields of STAGE/AV/AUDIO/LX

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the delivery of live entertainment shows
  • Strong communicator with an ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Innovative with an ability to identify areas for improvement and implement ways to enhance processes
  • Keen eye for detail, always ensuring the area is adhering to all company procedures, best practises and brand guidelines
  • Happy to be flexible for working patterns
  • Ability to work across family breaks, Big Weekenders and corporate events
