We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Staffing Specialist to join Fairweather’s People Division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at building strong relationships with clients and candidates, and has experience recruiting across multiple industries, including but not limited to oil and gas, mining, construction, and medical professions. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on—someone who can source hard‑to-find talent, design targeted recruiting campaigns, analyze workforce trends, and deliver an exceptional experience to both clients and employees.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of contingent roles spanning technical, skilled trades, professional, and clinical positions
Source, screen, and build talent pipelines using creative and proactive strategies
Design and execute recruitment campaigns, job ads, and social media content to attract high-quality candidates
Partner with hiring managers, clients, and internal teams to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and recruiting timelines
Maintain a high level of customer service through consistent communication, responsiveness, and relationship-building
Engage and support employees throughout their assignments, ensuring strong retention and positive workforce experience
Use data and analytics to track recruiting performance, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements
Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process, including documentation and industry-specific regulations
Represent the company professionally at career fairs, community events, and industry networking opportunities
Assist in timesheet questions & concerns and perform a detailed and thorough timesheet review each payroll cycle
Working closely with the accounting team, regularly perform a detailed and thorough timesheet and invoice review and process that supports the company and client contractual obligations
Assist Fairweather Management in Audit requirements
Coordinate across departments to ensure objectives are aligned, and timelines are accurately met
Regularly provide position status and analysis
Support other assignments and projects as needed to support the organization
Requirements:
Proven experience recruiting across multiple industries, ideally including oil and gas, mining, construction, and medical or clinical roles
Strong ability to design targeted recruitment and social media campaigns
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to build strong relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated experience working in high-volume or fast-paced recruiting environments
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and refine strategies
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with ATS systems, sourcing tools, and social media platforms
Nice to have:
Experience in contingent staffing, workforce solutions, or recruiting for remote/rotational workforces
Knowledge of Alaska labor markets and industry trends
Experience with employer branding, marketing, or content design
