Job Description:

This role works across a rota working 08:00 - 16:00 and 11:00 - 19:00, with the occasional weekend and bank holiday work. The Temporary Staffing Team currently process and manage the Medical (doctors), Nursing, Allied Health Professional and Administration & Clerical flexible workforce being utilized throughout the Trust (this includes Bank and Agency workers).

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with the booking of temporary workers into the Roster, providing the wards with appropriate staffing levels
  • Responsible for their own departments and will work closely with the Clinical Leads, Heads of Service, Rota Coordinators, Ward Managers and Matrons to understand their staffing needs
  • Ensuring the temporary staffing requirements are dealt with in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Providing divisional level support in respect of temporary staffing cover needs
  • Ensuring all flexible staffing requirements are documented as per Trust procedures and filled as appropriate via the E-Roster system

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent at grade A*- C including Maths and English
  • NVQ Customer Service / Business Admin
  • Information Management and Technology literate
  • Regular use of databases, spread sheets and email
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Nice to have:

  • Experience of producing reports and updates on staffing levels versus KPI's
  • Knowledge and regular use of an electronic staff rostering system
