This role works across a rota working 08:00 - 16:00 and 11:00 - 19:00, with the occasional weekend and bank holiday work. The Temporary Staffing Team currently process and manage the Medical (doctors), Nursing, Allied Health Professional and Administration & Clerical flexible workforce being utilized throughout the Trust (this includes Bank and Agency workers).
Job Responsibility:
Assisting with the booking of temporary workers into the Roster, providing the wards with appropriate staffing levels
Responsible for their own departments and will work closely with the Clinical Leads, Heads of Service, Rota Coordinators, Ward Managers and Matrons to understand their staffing needs
Ensuring the temporary staffing requirements are dealt with in a timely and cost effective manner
Providing divisional level support in respect of temporary staffing cover needs
Ensuring all flexible staffing requirements are documented as per Trust procedures and filled as appropriate via the E-Roster system
Requirements:
5 GCSE's or equivalent at grade A*- C including Maths and English
NVQ Customer Service / Business Admin
Information Management and Technology literate
Regular use of databases, spread sheets and email
Knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Nice to have:
Experience of producing reports and updates on staffing levels versus KPI's
Knowledge and regular use of an electronic staff rostering system
