The Talent Acquisition & Workforce Coordinator is a foundational HR role focused on optimizing personnel workflows and delivering exceptional service to candidates and staff alike. By managing critical HRIS data, facilitating recruitment logistics, and ensuring compliance with onboarding requirements, this position keeps our workforce operations running smoothly and accurately.
Job Responsibility
Input, modify, and audit employment records within the HRIS framework encompassing job changes, salary adjustments, absences, benefits, and departures
Address inquiries from the general public and internal teams regarding hiring protocols, while drafting official corporate communications and employment notices
Build and publish job advertisements across digital and traditional networks, filter inbound resumes, score competency tests, and coordinate interviews
Lead documentation meetings for new staff, orchestrate orientation timelines, conduct professional reference checks, and coordinate mandatory background verifications
Reconcile timekeeping errors, monitor paid-time-off balances, flag deficit accounts, and issue payroll deduction directives when required to meet strict processing deadlines.
Requirements
A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary program specializing in Human Resources Management, or a university degree supplemented by equivalent human resources training
A minimum of twelve (12) months of practical experience operating within a human resources capacity
Strong proficiency with digital productivity suites (such as Microsoft 365, Word, and Excel) is required
prior experience navigating an enterprise HRIS platform is highly valued
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal capabilities, and a proven knack for handling sensitive data with total discretion.
