We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability. Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure. As a Staff Technical Writer, you will establish and own Crusoe’s customer-facing product documentation for an AI developer and AI infrastructure engineer audience. You will report directly into Product Management, treating documentation as an integral part of the product itself. This is the first dedicated technical writer on the team, responsible for building a scalable documentation practice from the ground up.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish and own Crusoe’s customer-facing product documentation for an AI developer and AI infrastructure engineer audience

  • Utilize native AI tools to improve writing efficiency and create templates
  • Author and maintain customer-facing product documentation, including setup guides, tutorials, and knowledge-base articles
  • Ensure documentation is consistent and connected across UI workflows, CLI usage, and APIs
  • Produce clear, high-quality documentation tailored to developers and infrastructure engineers
  • Establish templates, standards, and best practices for documentation
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering to turn complex designs into clear documentation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical writing experience in a technology company
  • Mandatory: Experience using cloud services to execute AI workloads or experience with AI managed services
  • A passion for the craft and a desire to reinvent technical writing through the use of AI tools
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical topics and systems
  • High self-drive and the ability to operate independently in a startup environment
  • Ability to think like a Product Manager
  • Familiarity with "Neocloud" architectures or high-performance computing environments
  • Comfort learning and documenting cloud infrastructure concepts such as storage, networking, and AI/ML workloads

Nice to have:

  • Experience specifically with Neoclouds (e.g., CoreWeave, Nebius)
  • Background in software development or engineering prior to technical writing
  • Experience at organizations known for strong developer documentation
What we offer:
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Health insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependents
  • Employer contributions to HSA accounts
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Teladoc
  • 401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salary
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule
