The Brokerage Technical Program Management team ensures our core brokerage systems remain scalable, observable, and reliable as Robinhood supports its next 10 million customers and beyond! The team partners closely with Engineering, Product, and operational partners to deliver durable platform improvements that strengthen performance, reliability, and developer efficiency. As a Technical Program Manager (IC6), you will lead complex technical programs focused on system performance, observability, and automation. You will translate platform strategy into executable plans, align senior technical stakeholders, and improve how teams plan, execute, and operate at scale. Your work will directly support the stability and growth of Robinhood’s brokerage infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead large-scale technical programs from early design through delivery, launch, and operational readiness across brokerage infrastructure systems
  • Translate infrastructure and platform strategy into clear roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans in partnership with Product and Engineering leaders
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks related to system performance, scalability, reliability, and developer productivity
  • Establish and improve lightweight program management mechanisms that increase execution speed while reducing operational overhead
  • Provide consistent visibility into program status, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs for engineering, product, and executive stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs in large-scale, fast-moving environments
  • Strong technical fluency, including the ability to understand system architecture, evaluate design tradeoffs, and partner closely with senior engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure and measurable outcomes to ambiguous problem spaces
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting or working with large-scale distributed systems
