Requirements

Significant experience in customer-facing, technical pre-sales or post-sales roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Field Engineer, or equivalent
Strong background in designing and operating distributed systems or cloud-native applications
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome-focused narratives
Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, Ruby or PHP

Job Responsibility

Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives for the DACH region
Lead customer discovery to understand architecture, constraints, and success criteria
Design end-to-end reference architectures that demonstrate how Temporal fits into existing services
Build and deliver high-impact demos and technical narratives
Run deep technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements
Provide hands-on guidance on best practices for workflow and activity design, testing strategies, and operationalization
Identify and mitigate technical risks in customer projects
Capture and communicate customer feedback and feature requests into Product
Contribute to reusable assets for the field
Represent Temporal in customer meetings, executive briefings, and at community events or conferences in the DACH market
