Job Description:

As a Staff Software Engineer at Ironclad, you’ll partner closely with teammates across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market to uncover high-impact problems and design, build, and ship thoughtful solutions. You’ll help shape the platform that empowers legal teams and business partners to do their best work at scale. Our product is bringing a centuries-old profession into the digital age, and you’ll play a pivotal role in defining what the next generation of contracting looks like.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across the company to scope, design, and ship features and systems that meaningfully impact our customers
  • Partner with quality engineers to co-create, evolve, and maintain a thoughtful testing strategy that keeps our product fast, reliable, and resilient
  • Lead technical discussions, share context generously, and mentor teammates through clear, kind feedback and coaching
  • Help grow an inclusive, high-performing team by interviewing and hiring engineers from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences
  • Build in a modern stack that includes TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of software experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex systems
  • Leadership across teams and a drive towards improving overall technical architecture and achieving company-wide goals
