Job Description:

Building a world of health around every consumer and transforming healthcare. Working on Oak Street Health platform which is essential to enabling value-based care model and integral to how providers take care of patients. Developing innovative products that have immediate impact on health and wellbeing of patients. Contributing to delivery of new platform for healthcare built specifically for clinical teams.

Job Responsibility:

Leads the architectural vision and system design for a sprint team
Contribute to all aspects of SDLC process (SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain)
Collaborate with Product, UX and other Engineering teams
Collaborate with Platform team and evangelize architectural best practices
Participate in code reviews and instill best practices
Partner with product team to define technical debt backlog
Mentor team members
Implement SecDevops best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in CS or related degree/industry experience
Experience leading an agile team in delivering products
10+ years of experience building consumer-facing products using SPA frameworks (Angular/React/Vue)
Experience building restful API Services using JVM-based technologies (Kotlin or Java)
Expert in distributed systems, cloud-based environment either in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes
Expert in technical design documentation and decomposing designs into stories
Must have experience with event-driven architecture, with Kafka being preferred
Expert in unit and integration testing with ability to achieve 80%+ code coverage
Expert in building cloud native scalable microservices
Experience working in an Agile/Devops environment
Familiarity with tech stack: JVM-based technologies, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, cloud-based blob storage, OpenAPI
