Job Description:

This role is responsible for leading the design and development of scalable, high-quality features for Aetna applications using modern technologies such as React Native, TypeScript, and Java-based back-end systems. The position involves providing architectural guidance, ensuring code quality through reviews, and mentoring team members to foster technical excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Feature Development: Design and implement robust, scalable features using React Native and TypeScript for our Aetna applications
Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high coding standards across the team
Mentorship & Training: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering their professional growth and technical skills
Architectural Guidance: Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy discussions
Production Support: Provide technical support for production issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing fixes
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with React/Angular
7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
7+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies
4+ years of experience in modern programming languages and cloud-based technologies (GCP is preferred)

Nice to have:

Experience in Healthcare domain
Experience in Agile development practices
Experience with GCP or other public cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), SaaS application development/support, CI/CD practices, containerization, Kubernetes, and Agile/DevOps methodologies
Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or equivalent product engineering collaboration tools
