Job Description:

Our client, a well-established global organization in the healthcare and medical products space, is seeking a Staff / Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will support core accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. This is a strong opportunity for an accountant looking to grow within a stable, fast-paced organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner
  • Support preparation of internal financial reports and schedules used for management review
  • Assist with revenue, inventory, fixed assets, or expense accounting, depending on experience level
  • Support annual financial audits and respond to audit requests by providing accurate documentation
  • Partner with AP, AR, FP&A, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial data and proper expense coding
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support automation initiatives
  • For Senior-level candidates: provide guidance to junior staff, review work, and assist with more complex accounting issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Staff Accountant: 1–3 years of general accounting experience
  • Senior Accountant: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
